The 5 inch travel suspension fork offers 25% more shock absorbing travel than cross country mountain bikes do at this price point, while maintaining the lighter and faster rolling 29 inch wheel size.

The front suspension is Rock Shox Judy Silver Solo Air.

\n

Air sprung forks offer a smoother ride quality, are much more tuneable and are significantly lighter than the coil-spring forks typically used at this level.

\n

Components are Shimano's new Deore 1x11 setup, including the crankset and bottom bracket, with Shimano hydraulic brakes.

\n

The only real upgrades this bike needs to hold its own with any other hardtail out there are a dropper post and tubeless setup. This bike can be ridden hard.
